What to expect when getting Botox Cosmetic at Rejuvenate Rx?

Botox is FDA-approved to treat lines in the forehead, glabella (referred to as the 11's/angry lines) as well as crow's feet (eyes). As a physician, Dr. Gwyn has the unique ability to treat other areas in the face and neck as well, such as: masseters(TMJ/grinding), lip flip, brow lifts, bunny lines (nose), platysmal bands in the neck and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits). Her approach with Botox is to assess the face as a whole and achieve natural results. What should I know as a new Botox patient?

The most common concerns about Botox we hear from patients relate to discomfort of treatment, cost, adverse reactions, and lack of results. Our patients find that treatment is surprisingly easy and painless! The injections themselves are very quick and Dr. Gwyn's focus is to make her patients as comfortable as possible. The cost of Botox ranges per patient based on several factors including areas being treated and amount of units needed to achieve desired results. Dr. Gwyn's goal is to make Botox accessible for her patients. We will always do our best to work within your budget and we also offer financing with Care Credit and PatientFi. First-time patients receive $50 off their treatment and existing patients have opportunity to save with our rewards program Alle. Adverse reactions are typically mild, consisting of: discomfort/slight bruising at injection site and mild swelling that may lead to a temporary headache. More serious adverse reactions are mitigated by Dr. Gwyn's experience and expertise. Patient happiness is our overarching mission at Rejuvenate Rx. Your satisfaction with your results truly does matter to us. Post treatment, we follow up with you to take photos and assess your results; if any adjustments need to be made, it's always done complimentary. Touch-ups are also offered at no cost up to 8 weeks post treatment.

After filling out the form, one of our cosmetic medicine specialists will reach out to you. We can schedule you directly via text for a complimentary consultation or answer any initial questions you may have.

What should I expect at my first Botox consultation?

We offer consultations in two ways. If you are brand-new to Botox, not quite feeling ready to move forward with treatment, or just want more information, we will schedule you for a complimentary consultation with our Practice Manager. She can answer any initial questions you may have, share before and after photos, create a treatment plan with you, go over cost and expected results of treatment, and then schedule out your future appointment. If you have had Botox in the past with another clinic or feel very confident in wanting to move forward, we can schedule you directly with Dr. Gwyn. She will do a facial assessment, chat with you about your goals, create your exact treatment plan, and administer the Botox treatment.

I am ready for my first Botox treatment! Now what?

Ready to move forward with treatment? Perfect! You can call our clinic to schedule or message us directly on our website. We will just need a few pieces of information to get you scheduled. Once you are on our schedule, we will send you a confirmation text immediately and then again the day before your appointment. We will also electronically send you all of your intake paperwork and consent forms; once you fill these out, they come back electronically to us! No need for a printer. Upon arrival, we will take your before photos for your medical records, make you comfortable in our lounge with a hot cup of tea, confirm that all paperwork has been completed, then Dr. Gwyn will bring you back. Treatment itself is quick, but you will get a full 30 minutes with Dr. Gwyn to get to know each other and ask any questions you may have! There are a few post-treatment recommendations, which we will go over thoroughly with you. We will also schedule a 2-week follow-up with you to make sure you are loving your results!

I love my Botox results, how can I keep them?
